Our recent visit to The Mayflower for a birthday celebration was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. Rishav and Dilanka, our waiters, were outstanding – attentive to our needs and adding a touch of humour to the evening. The food was truly impeccable, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. It's rare to find a venue that makes you feel so special, and The Mayflower certainly did. We can't wait to visit again.
We had a shared meal for the table. there were some big appetites at the table (inc. me), and yet there was enough leftovers for a doggy bag. Good service, good food and whilst not cheap, also not over priced for what you get. Imho better value for money than some other "lucky onion" eateries.
Our group had a great time at the Mayflower. They were incredibly accommodating of our large group of 17, and took very good care of us in our private room upstairs, despite it being a very busy Friday night for them. We had the taste of the mayflower sharing menu - there was loads of food, and all delicious. Atmosphere was great, and staff couldn’t have done more!
Superb Rishav, our waiter made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. The Sticky beef and King Pao chicken hit the spot. 10/10 for very tasty Chinese cuisine
Beautiful restaurant using the best of everything. One thing missing is a curry but have been told one is to be added shortly. Toilets say a lot for the upkeep, beautiful Molton Brown diffusers and hand washing facilities, even the paper towels were superb, I loved the ladies emergency box too - nothing had been forgotten, definitely still one of my favourite restaurants.
We came in expecting Chinese but were blown away by the Asian fusion flavours. Very innovative and exciting. Everything was delicious (chicken curry, lemon chicken, Singapore noodles). 10/10 for the team at the Mayflower. Clean plate club.

Often come here with family, but recently booked with friends and everyone complimented the whole experience. Staff were so attentive, service was quick and accommodating. Food was amazing. We had the starter platters, and tried lots of new dishes. Cocktails were great too Definitely a fave venue for us.
